Special Recognition

Part of the success of being a successful learning community is that individuals and teams have the opportunity to apply learning and share the results of their practices. (Jane Bumpers Huffman, and Kristine Kiefer Hipp, 2003.) At Sylvania Heights Elementary School our communities of teachers have begun a National Board movement.

Currently at Sylvania Heights Elementary, we are proud have six staff members of distinction who have achieved this accomplishment! They are:

Ms. Rain Delima- Media Specialist

Ms. Olga Laffita-Marin- Media Specialist

Mrs. Lulu Caudillo- Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Janett Miranda- Fourth Grade Teacher

Ms. Gwendolyn Dixon- First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Celia Sanchez- Gifted Teacher
