Congratulations to our new Teacher of the Year- Mrs. Ana-Maria Losada and to our Para-Professional of the Year- Mrs. Ligia Chirino. We thank them for their dedication to their students and to SHE.

Part of the success of being a successful learning community is that individuals and teams have the opportunity to apply learning and share the results of their practices. (Jane Bumpers Huffman, and Kristine Kiefer Hipp, 2003.) At Sylvania Heights Elementary School our communities of teachers have begun a National Board movement.
Currently at Sylvania Heights Elementary, we are proud have seven staff members of distinction who have achieved this accomplishment! They are:
